After a few days in the hospital, we were ready to head home! We packed, got Reese dressed in her fancy going home outfit (thanks Grandma Rita), and made the short trip home. Chris was nervous driving with the baby, but did great. We are happy to be home!
WELCOME!
This blog shares the happenings of Chris, Lacey and Reese O'Donnell. We didn't used to have that much to say about ourselves which is why posts were few and far between, but now we have a little person that will give us a lot to talk about. The blog will also feature Lacey's Random Finds - event planning, paper love, pretty crafty things, etc.
ENJOY!
ENJOY!
Happy Thanksgiving
With a due date just two days before Thanksgiving, we made a lot of jokes about getting our own turkey delivered just in time. Grandma Pat had bought this Thanksgiving onesie a few weeks ago but we weren't sure she would make it in time to wear it. Little did we know....she would comply and give us even more material (instert your little pumpkin, turkey, butterball jokes here). We are glad she arrived in time for this great holiday and that she didn't miss a fashion opportunity.
Uncle Brady - First Visitor
First Bath
At our hospital, the Dad's get to go with for baby's first bath. She wasn't a huge fan, but somehow still looks cute when she is mad.
From Two to Three
After a suprise 'water breaking situation' (Chris' exact words when he called the after hours doctor line), we spent all day Wednesday at the hospital on labor inducing meds and popcycles! Despite some pretty good contractions for several hours and an epidural, I never dialated and it was time to have the baby. I had a C section Wednesday night and by 7:19, Reese Madison O'Donnell was born.
