WELCOME!

This blog shares the happenings of Chris, Lacey and Reese O'Donnell. We didn't used to have that much to say about ourselves which is why posts were few and far between, but now we have a little person that will give us a lot to talk about. The blog will also feature Lacey's Random Finds - event planning, paper love, pretty crafty things, etc.

ENJOY!

Photo Shoot with Uncle Ryan

While in Utah, we had a photo shoot with Uncle Ryan. I LOVE LOVE LOVE how these turned out. So cute!

More Christmas Fun

How cute are Reese's cousins? They were SO WONDERFUL with her and played with her every minute.

Christmas Morning

Reese is a lucky girl. Santa found her in Utah!!

Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa's

We spent Christmas in Utah this year. It was very fun. Reese loved all of the decorations at Grandma's - especially the snowman family on the mantle and the Christmas tree.

Temple Square Christmas Lights

While home in Utah, we went to Temple Square to see the lights. It was an absolutely FREEZING night, so we didn't last too long. Reese was too cold and too bundled to see the magic of it - maybe next year!

With Shaylee! They look so cute.

SANTA

Reese loved meeting Santa (mostly!). She learned to tell us what Santa says, and the whole time we were in line, she could see him and was saying HO HO HO over and over again. And of course waving and saying HI - her favorite new thing.

In other news, while we were waiting for Chris to meet us at the mall, we were shopping around and it started to SNOW. INSIDE. Yep, snow machine in the mall. It was awesome. Only at Tysons II.

Christmas Party

We made it to a couple of Christmas parties in December. Reese loved the centerpieces at this one. (thanks Rachel for inviting us!)

Winter Party

During December, one of Lacey's big events took place right here in DC. The organization she works for throws a really nice holiday/winter party. The last few years it has been held at a local hotel, but this year we went all out with the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History. It was fantastic. Guests could roam the exhibits (like first ladies dresses, or the ruby slippers) while enjoying great food and drink (and dancing of course!). The colors this year were shades of red and turquoise. It all turned out beautiful with the lights, linens, and centerpieces. AND...we got a really nice picture taken by the event photographer.

Baby Photo Shoot

In December we had our picture taken with some of our Mom's group friends and babies. It was hilarious and we are thrilled that we got one or two where they are looking at the camera.
